Complication in the intensity level of diabetes can be avoided if the person examines his own early symptoms. Managing diabetes properly does not mean living a dull life and monotonous life. The life of diabetic needs to be hardly different from that of a sensible and balanced non- diabetic.

It was very wisely said by William Shakespeare, ‘Sweets are the uses of
adversity’. It is common belief that a person consuming too much pf
sweet gets affected with diabetics. And to be precise, it can even
affect individuals who are quite healthy. When people come across
diabetes, they get panic and somehow start feeling sick. One thing is
very clear; proper diagnosis, strict diet, regular exercise, and
medicine/insulin are the best way to live healthy diabetic life.

Well, no doubt that the management of diabetes has been advanced
in modern world. It is very necessary to get proper diagnosis. Certain
symptoms can in fact warn us about diabetes. But for that we should
have proper information in regards with symptoms. Seriously, there is
no need to get worried about diabetic life or diagnosis. The step
towards early diagnosis can overcome the intensity of this ailment.

Diabetes is a state where normally, an individual possess high
level of sugar in blood. Or even when the body is incapable of
generating sufficient amount of insulin for normal functioning of
organs is associated with diabetes. Sometimes in this state, body does
not respond properly to the insulin created in pancreas. Thus, when
body does not absorb the glucose, it leads to hyperglycemia.

It is necessary to understand the proper early symptoms of diabetes,
to act accordingly. The standard symptoms of diabetes are rapid loss of
weight, excessive thirst, frequent urination, and extreme hunger. But,
if these symptoms are developing gradually, and are not very severe,
then they cannot be alarming sign. Moreover, in mild and moderate
cases, the symptoms might not even exist. This is the main reason for
diabetes to be remained undetected for so long period. Usually, a blood
or urine test detects diabetes. Sometimes, diabetes is first diagnosed
when the patient has repetitive infections. An ulcer which refuses to
heal, continuous itching or rashes over skin are also the symptoms of
diabetes.

Other symptoms like retinopathy- abnormality in retina,
nephropathy- abnormalities in kidneys, and neuropathy- abnormality of
nerves informs us about diabetes. This forecast can be made available
to people technically, having impaired glucose tolerance, or IGT on the
basis of blood test. If the diabetic person understands his won problem
and participates actively in his own treatment, he may live more
productive and healthy life.

Diabetes is one of the most common chronic illnesses, affecting millions of people worldwide It is a condition in which the body either does not produce enough insulin (Type 1), or does not properly process the insulin it is making (Type 2)

Diabetes is one of the most common chronic illnesses, affecting millions of people worldwide. It is a condition in which the body either does not produce enough insulin (<a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-1-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 1 Diabetes" >Type 1), or does not properly process the insulin it is making (<a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-2-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 2 Diabetes" >Type 2).

There are many differing causes for diabetes, including specific viral infections, genetic predisposition, and personal diet. In particular, <a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-2-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 2 Diabetes" >Type 2 diabetes tends to manifest in patients whose diet is poorly managed. Currently there is no known cure for diabetes, meaning this is an illness that requires constant careful management.

A diabetic’s diet has a great deal to say about how the condition will continue to affect them. Proper diet can help prevent the onset of Type 2 diabetes, but even in patients who have been diagnosed with either condition, a healthy diet can reduce the side effects and secondary illnesses that tend to crop up. Here are five factors to consider when managing diabetes.

1 – the Glucose Cycle

The primary element that requires management in diabetic patients is their glucose cycle. Glucose (a simple sugar) is brought into the body, then processed by way of insulin and removed. Diabetics’ bodies cannot accomplish this second task properly, which leads to glucose buildup and the development of secondary illnesses such as kidney damage. This is why many diabetic patients have to monitor their blood sugar.

A healthy diabetic diet must take sugar and glucose intake into account. High blood sugar levels (hyperglycemia) can cause kidney damage, retina damage, or even a diabetic coma and eventually death if left untreated long enough. Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) is equally dangerous, leading to potential brain damage or fainting spells.

Being able to properly control glucose intake requires understanding where it comes from. Not all carbohydrates have glucose in them: while sucrose sugars have a high glucose content, crystalline fructose does not. There are many resources on the Web that list comprehensive breakdowns of glucose content, and your dietician should have a primer or guide as well.

A very important part of this is record keeping. Similar to a dietary journal for weight loss, a simple glucose journal is no more than a list of the foods and portions you had throughout the day. Kept up for a month or more and compared to your blood sugar over time, this will allow you to track the contents of what you’re eating and measure their effects.

2 – Mushrooms, Mushrooms!

As we’ve discussed, keeping your blood sugar level in check is an important part of diabetes management. Interestingly, there are certain mushrooms that are noted for their ability to lower blood sugar levels. The three most common are the reishi, maitake, and the agaricus blazei varieties. If you enjoy adding mushrooms to your recipes, consider including these with the usual shitaki or canned variety.

3 – Water, Water Everywhere

Water is always a vital nutrient to the body, and is even more critical for diabetics. Water promotes healthy bodily function, flushes out toxins and accumulated wastes, and maintains body temperature properly. When your body has the proper amount of water intake, you feel better, operate more healthily, and your system can adapt to greater strains, which include those brought on by diabetes.

The general guideline is eight to twelve cups of water per day under average conditions. If you perform greater exercise, you will of course require more water. The trick is not to flood your system at any one time, such as just drinking during meals. Drink at a rate of a cup every two hours to keep your system operating at peak condition, with more during meals. A bonus effect is that water imparts a sense of fullness, reducing the urge to snack on glucose-heavy foods.

4 – Whole Grain, No Pain

Fiber is a very important element in controlling blood sugar. The soluble fiber found in whole grain foods is particularly beneficial, since it slows digestion and allows your system more time to even out the process of managing blood sugar. This means insulin management is much more effective, making management of your entire condition much easier.

Good sources of whole grains include breads, oat based foods, and other sources. An additional benefit from the slower digestion caused by whole grains is that you gain a sense of fullness and feel full longer. This reduces the urge to snack between meals, and lets you keep meal portions to more manageable sizes. So consider replacing the afternoon snack with a whole-grain sandwich.

5 – the Doctor’s Orders

Before making any changes whatsoever to your diet, it is vitally important that you speak at length with your physician and dietician about your specific case. Diabetes is a highly individual illness, manifesting in different ways in every patient. Any changes to your diet should be checked for approval with your doctor, so you can be sure you’re going to get the best possible results. You don’t have to go it alone, so take your physician’s advice to heart.

A Final Word

Diabetes is a serious condition requiring diligent care. However, making smart changes to your diet, under your physician’s guidance, may naturally help prevent or alleviate many side-effects and promote your wellbeing.

Diabetes often goes undiagnosed because most of its signs are not very harmful Most of the signs of type 1 and 2 diabetes are the same

Diabetes often goes undiagnosed because most of its signs are not very harmful. Most of the signs of <a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-1-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 1 Diabetes" >type 1 and 2 diabetes are the same. As in both cases there is an excess amount of sugar in the blood and an insufficient amount of sugar in the cells, where actually it is required.

In type 1 increased level of glucose in the blood is the outcome of the destruction of insulin producing cells. In <a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-2-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 2 Diabetes" >type 2 diabetes high glucose level occurs when cells of the body become resistant to produce insulin.

In both types the cells are not getting the required amount of glucose and the body tries to inform you for this by giving different signs which has been mentioned here.

Recurrent visits to the Bathroom:

One has to urinate more when there is an excessive amount of glucose in the body. If insulin is not effective or is not there then the kidneys are unable to filter the glucose back to blood. They then become over reactive and attempts to extract more water from the blood to dilute the glucose. This is the reason that bladder is fuller and one has to make recurrent visit to the bathroom.

Feeling Thirsty:

If somebody has the feeling that he is more thirsty than usual then it can also be the sign of diabetes. The reason is that when kidney are demanding extra water from the blood and he is frequently going to the rest room, he may feel the need to drink more water to substitute the one being expelled.

Weight Loss:

This sign is more prevalent in those who have <a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-2-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 1 Diabetes" >type 1 diabetes than the ones with type 2. As in type 1 pancreas is unable to make insulin due to a viral attack. The body is not getting enough energy from the cells. To fulfill this deficiency the body starts to break down the fat cells and muscle tissues for energy and that results in a rapid weight loss.

Tiredness:

It is again due to glucose. Glucose in the food which we take goes into the blood where there should be insulin to help it out. The cells use this glucose to produce energy. But when there is not enough insulin the cells also do not react to it. The glucose is then not entered into the blood. The cells become energy deficient and the diabetic feel run down and tired.

Numbness in Feet, Hands or Legs:

This sign appears gradually over time and is called neuropathy. The reason behind this is that the consistent levels of high glucose levels in the blood destroy the nervous system. This destruction can be controlled by having a proper control on blood sugar levels.

The high glucose in the body also results in blurred vision, itchy skin, cuts and infections that take a longer time to heal.

If you notice any of the above sign in yourself or your child, schedule an appointment with the doctor and gather as much information as you can. As only proper knowledge and better understanding of diabetes can help you in fighting the battle against it and even reverse it.

Diabetes is a major health concern in this country Seven percent of our population currently has diabetes and it is estimated that another 41 million people have pre-diabetes

Diabetes is a major health concern in this country. Seven percent of our population currently has diabetes and it is estimated that another 41 million people have pre-diabetes. This is a condition that over time can lead to type II diabetes. It is estimated that another 6 million people are affected by this disease that are not aware of it. So with these statistics you can see why it is such a major health problem.

What is the Definition of Diabetes

Glucose in the blood gives us the energy that we need to do such physical activities such as walking, running riding a bicycle and many other everyday activities. Diabetes is when our bodies can not regulate the amount of sugar in our blood, especially glucose.

Our livers produce blood glucose when we eat food. Glucose is regulated by several hormones, insulin being one of them. The pancreas produces insulin along with other important enzymes that help us digest the food that we consume. Insulin is the vehicle that allows glucose to move from the blood into the liver, muscles and fat cells where it is used as fuel.

<a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-1-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 1 Diabetes" >Type 1 diabetes occurs when a person does not produce enough insulin. <a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-2-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 2 Diabetes" >Type 2 diabetes is a situation where a person produces enough insulin, but can not use it properly. In some forms of the disease people can have both of these conditions. It is more common though to have one or the other. The main problem here is that glucose can not move from the blood into the cells and tissues that need it for energy. High levels of glucose in the blood can cause damage to other tissues and organs.

There Can Be Serious Complications from Diabetes

Type 1 and <a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-2-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 2 Diabetes" >Type 2 diabetes lead to high blood sugar levels which is called hyperglycemia. If left untreated, over time this condition will lead to serious medical problems. The leading cause of blindness in people that have the disease is damage that can occur to the retina. It can also cause kidney failure and damage to the nerves. The leading cause of foot wounds and ulcers that can result in amputation is when nerves are damaged.

Other complications of nerve damage can be paralysis of the stomach, called gastroparesis, chronic diarrhea, and an inability to control heart rate and blood pressure during postural movement.

Another condition that can be caused by diabetes is atherosclerosis which is when fatty plaque forms on the inside of artery walls. This can decrease circulation to the legs and feet as well as being a leading cause of heart attacks and strokes.

There are some short term medical problems that are also associated with diabetes. Infections being one of them. The disease can hinder a person’s ability to fight off infections. This is made worse by the fact that an infection can worsen glucose control, which further delays recovery.

Symptoms of Diabetes

<a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-2-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 1 Diabetes" >Type 1 diabetes is usually picked up during childhood or adolescence. Normally it is seen during other medical examinations or when there is a sickness or injury. The extra stress caused by diabetes can also lead to a condition called ketoacidosis which is characterized by nausea and vomiting along with dehydration. It can also affect potassium levels in the blood. If ketoacidosis is left untreated it can lead to death.

Type 2 diabetes is often more subtle and is usually associated with aging or obesity. This is a condition that can persist for years without one being aware of it. If it is left untreated it can lead to complications such as nerve damage, blindness, heart disease and kidney failure.

Some of the more common symptoms associated with both forms of diabetes are fatigue, unexplained weight loss, thirst, and excessive urination. Other symptoms can include excessive eating, open wounds that do not heal properly, infections, blurry vision and a noticeable change in mental status.

To conclude, diabetes can be a serious and life threatening disease. This is true for both forms of diabetes. Once you have an understanding of the disease and some of it’s symptoms you will be better equipped to seek medical attention if yourself or any of your family members are experiencing one or more of its symptoms.

Despite the best diabetes treatment type that western medicine has, diabetes is sadly still a raving maniac accounting for the deaths of over 230,000 people in the United States yearly. Its onslaught is felt in other parts of the world as well.

It has been estimated that half of all amputations in the United States are due to diabetes related complications and is a major contributor to heart attacks.

This killer is on rampage and orthodox medicine best arsenal has still failed to stop this maniac.

Question is- Are there products out there good at fighting diabetes that can be useful to me and others? Yes there is. Do read on.

There is hope on the ground from a new product which is a formulation of a powerful herbal sugar destroyer used by the sages of India for over 2,000 years and many other powerful herbal products such:

1. Gymnema sylvestre is originally an Indian vine widely used in Ayurvedic medicine. It is also found in Northern Africa. It is grown commercially in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America.

Also called “the sugar destroyer,” gymnema can in the interim block the ability to taste sugar when applied to the tongue!

It has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine, this herb, which is taken internally controls blood sugar levels, reduces blood glucose, and increases insulin production.

In addition to that, this are some more benefits of Gymnema;

- Reduces or eliminates the sense taste of sugariness for several hours

- Reduces the assimilation of glucose into the blood system

- Increases insulin manufacture by the pancreas – by mending tissue

- Reduces blood levels of triglycerides and cholesterol

(2)Alpha Lipoid Acid, popular in Germany. ALA almost instantly starts increasing your cells capability of turning sugar into energy by 50% and reduces your bodies need for insulin!

More than 15 clinical studies show that ALA protects against glycation the most serious consequence of elevated blood sugar that

- Damages the kidney and retina tissue, an in addition the insulin producing beta cells.

- Hardens your arteries and forms plaque, which leads to high blood pressure, also heart attacks and strokes.

(3)It also contains zinc which the bodies needs to make, use and move insulin. And furthermore, it protects your insulin producing cells and makes your body less resistant to insulin- your first major step to recovery!

(4)Now if you are 40 and above, you need to protect your heart and this holds true if you are suffering insulin resistance and high blood sugar. By being diabetic, your risk of a heart attack has just doubled ,along with strokes and this is how two in three diabetics end their lives.

To prevent that, cinnamon has been added-yes, the common cinnamon which has been proven to:

Over 23 million people in the United States were diagnosed with diabetes as of 2007, and this number is on the rise. Diabetes is the seventh most common disease in the U.S., and often goes hand in hand with clinical obesity. While exercise is a commonly prescribed treatment for both diabetes and obesity, people with either condition are likely not in the best of physical condition and are more likely to suffer injuries or strains. Thus, a personal trainer can be a great asset, especially when establishing an exercise program.

Diabetes is a very serious disease. In simple terms, the cause of diabetes is the body’s inability to make or use insulin well. Insulin controls the level of glucose (blood sugar) in the system. Some of the complications include:

Heart attack and stroke

Eye problems, including ultimately potentially going blind

Nerve damage in the extremities, which can ultimately lead to loss of limbs

Kidney problems that can ultimately lead to kidney failure

Gum disease and loss of teeth

Lack of energy

People who suffer from diabetes should choose a personal coach who has undergone special training and certification in dealing with diabetic issues. There are particular things trainers should monitor while working with diabetic individuals, including circulation and hypoglycemic reactions. Exercising can be very safe and effective for someone with diabetes when guidelines are followed.

Trainers are able to provide guidance, knowledge and support in a convenient and safe way. Some diabetics who work with a personal trainer are able to lose a lot of weight, resulting in the ability to lower their insulin injections and have a much better quality of life.

A good instructor should begin with an evaluation of the history of their new client’s health. Any problems the client suffers from should be revealed during this evaluation, including injuries to both skeletal and muscular structures as well as any serious conditions. A trainee may be required to get medical clearance before starting any type of exercise program, especially if the client has a severe or chronic disease.

After working with a client for a short while, the trainer and client should collaborate on setting an exercise goal. The exercise plan should include both aerobic exercise and weight or resistance training.

Aerobic exercise enhances sensitivity to insulin and helps to control blood sugar.

When included with proper nutrition, physical activity strengthens normal glucose metabolism by lowering body fat. Strength or resistance training also helps to decrease body fat by increasing the metabolism. The main benefit of training is to increase glucose intake and the ability to store it. Proper exercise can be the difference between lifestyle and medical management of diabetes.

Exercising with a personal trainer can help people from almost any background enjoy a greatly enhanced quality of life. It encourages the incorporation of many healthy changes, including increased physical activity, better hydration, improved diet, getting enough sleep and eating balanced meals.

Diabetes is a condition that can be managed by making important lifestyle changes. A personal trainer can help get you started down the path to good health.

What is DiabetesDiabetes involves the lack of capacity to manage the amount of glucose in the blood

What is Diabetes?

Diabetes involves the lack of capacity to manage the amount of glucose in the blood. The main hormone related to diabetes is insulin. During the digestion process carbohydrates and starches are broken down into glucose. Insulin allows liver, muscle and fat cells to take up glucose from the blood and stockpile it as glycogen.

In <a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-1-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 1 Diabetes" >type 1 diabetes insulin has ceased to be produced by the body. In patients with <a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-2-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 1 Diabetes" >Type 1 diabetes the autoimmune system, for one reason or another, destroyed the insulin producing cells of the pancreas. Patients have to obtain insulin for the rest of their lives, normally by means of injection, in order to handle glucose in the blood.

In <a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-2-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 2 Diabetes" >type 2 diabetes patients produce insufficient insulin or are insulin resistant. They can require external insulin, though dietary and lifestyle alterations along with medications may help control symptoms About 55% of people with <a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-2-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 2 Diabetes" >type 2 diabetes are obese and 80% are overweight. It is the increased fatty acid mobilization that gives rise to an increased insulin resistance. Visceral fat around the abdomen that surrounds internal organs plays a particularly important role. The enormous increase in type 2 diabetes with the western lifestyle and rising obesity have demonstrated that obesity plays a chief role in inducing type 2 diabetes.

Diabetes can result in life threatening complications. These complications include stroke, blindness, heart disease, kidney disease, and sciatic nerve dysfunction. Sciatica, itself, can produce loss of sensation and movement in your legs. These results are all grave and put at risk your quality of life.

Patterns of Eating and Exercise are Within Your Control

Type 2 diabetes is increasingly prevalent in our overstuffed and under exercised obese populace. It is often called an obesity disease or a prosperity disease. Type 2 diabetes is seldom detected in third world countries where people are poor and can’t afford to eat the highly refined, high fat diets of western countries.

The occurrence of obesity and type 2 diabetes can be tightly linked to the excessive consumption of processed and manufactured consumables like cookies, biscuits, white bread, chocolates, and ice cream. If you examine the ingredients of most manufactured foods you will find refined carbohydrates as sugar in a variety of forms including raw sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, cane juice, dextrose, maltose, and a lot of other ingredients. These ingredients predominantly come from natural carbohydrates with all the healthy fiber and starch removed.

These sugars rapidly go into the blood stream and cause insulin production to soar as the body tries to normalize the abrupt rise in blood sugar. As the rush of insulin does its job of removing sugars from the blood stream you often become very weary and sluggish because too much sugar was removed from the blood stream. You then hunger after more sugary snacks and this sequence starts again.

The result of all this refined sugar is that your body converts a good deal of this excess sugar to fat. And, fat increases body weight and elevates triglycerides in the blood. This increases the blood pressure and reduces the effectiveness of insulin, eventually resulting in diabetes.

There are other lifestyle causes of high blood sugar. Long term stress is a cause of elevated glucose levels because stress itself produces hormones that elevate blood glucose levels. Other risk factors for diabetes include smoking (raises sugar levels in the blood and reduces insulin effectiveness), elevated cholesterol and high triglyceride levels, and heavy alcohol use.

In general, type 2 diabetes is primarily a lifestyle choice. It is essentially avoidable by participating in an exercise program and eating a healthful diet low in fats and refined carbohydrates. If you are in jeopardy of getting diabetes, you ought to consult your doctor and follow a prescribed strategy of lifestyle modifications. This can result in a long and vigorous life.

Among the consequences that an unhealthy lifestyle can cause are the complications of chronic diseases. At the top of the list of the chronic diseases that we should avoid is diabetes.

The lifestyle that we choose dictates how our health and wellness will permeate in the years to come. For those people who choose to live active and healthy lifestyles, no worries should be wasted on having deteriorating health. But for those who opt to choose wrong types of food and eating habits that are not advisable to follow, then there would definitely be a problem.

Among the consequences that an unhealthy lifestyle can cause are the complications of chronic diseases. At the top of the list of the chronic diseases that we should avoid is diabetes. Admittedly, chronic diseases are all hard to manage, but of all the chronic diseases that are directly related to unhealthy lifestyles, diabetes has the most number of other health-related complications.

Diabetes can be called a growing epidemic, for the reasons that its prevalence has been known to escalate. Actually, the number of people who have died due to the complications brought by diabetes has also increased remarkably. Fortunately, diabetes can also be avoided through several healthy practices.

Exercise. Exercise helps the body to function better; to function efficiently. Through exercise, the vital organs of the body, including the pancreas, can function optimally and as such, it can also pump out more insulin, a hormone which is used to regulate the level of blood sugar levels in the blood stream.

Do not smoke. Although the ill-effects of smoking are also a popular fact, there is actually another reason to avoid smoking. Smoking can shrink the blood vessels and this would result in the bloods difficultly to have the blood flowing freely in the bloodstream. Thus, the outcome is that of a strained bloodstream and a blood glucose that will be hard to regulate.

Opt for healthy foods. Having a wide variety of healthy foods is a good option for those who are likely to be diagnosed with diabetes. Foods that are high in fiber and low in fats and carbohydrates are ideally included in a meal to avoid diabetes. This is due to the reason that the glucose in the blood might not be regulated by insulin when the insulin is not being secreted by the pancreas properly. This would likely result in the triggering of diabetes, especially when the carbohydrates that are broken down as glucose cannot be stored as energy and instead, is stored as fat in the cells.

These three tips are very common but following them is quite perennial to the avoidance of diabetes. These tips are especially recommended for those people who have triggering factors that may cause diabetes, like obesity and genetic factors.

Studies on diabetes mellitus are increasing all the time. Despite these studies and investigations no one could actually recognize what specially causes the disease diabetes mellitus.

Studies on diabetes
mellitus are increasing all the time. Despite these studies and investigations
no one could actually recognize what specially causes the disease diabetes
mellitus. This disease has led to a number of rumors circulating some which are
incompletely factual and others which hold no such fact at all. Type-1 diabetes
mellitus, or Insulin Dependent <a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/diabetes/"title="Articles on Diabetes" >Diabetes Mellitus (IDDM), is really a disease distinguish
by auto-destruction of the pancreatic beta cells that create insulin. With the procedure
body silently destroys these pancreatic cells creating an insulin shortage.

Â

Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus come into view to stem
from an inherited disorder in the immune
system, triggered by a number of environmental stimuli. The actual cause of the disease Insulin Dependent
Diabetes Mellitus is still unidentified; however, scientists have isolated
a few issues that may be connected to development of the disease. Most of the
people recognize that diabetes mellitus
develops as a outcome of the insufficiency of insulin, which is a hormone that
helps change blood glucose into energy. This is typically because the pancreas
fails to generate sufficient amount of insulin or because the cells of the body
begin to resist insulin. Although people know what leads to the development of
Diabetes Mellitus they do not presently know why this takes place in certain persons
and not others.

Â

Also people do not know the correct causes of <a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/gestational-diabetes/"title="Articles on Gestational Diabetes" >Gestational Diabetes although it is powerfully associated
with hormonal changes that take place during the second and third trimesters of
pregnancy. During this situation the placenta releases hormones which block the
normal action of insulin hormone to make sure that the growing baby gets enough
glucose. This type of diabetes causes pregnant women’s insulin wants to boost
by two or three times the normal rate. Failure to meet this insulin requires
leads to the onset of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus. Around 5% of pregnant
women develop Gestational Diabetes Mellitus and although people have a good thought
of what causes it, they do not know why it affects certain women and not
others. There are a number of connected threat factors in this disease but
currently no perfect reason.

Â

<a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-1-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 1 Diabetes" >Type 1 diabetes
mellitus is caused by injure to the pancreas as the outcome of an
auto-immune attack where the immune
system of the body begins to attack the insulin producing beta cells of the
pancreas. Whilst most of the people know what really causes type-1 diabetes
they are still uncertain what triggers this response. A number of medical
suggestions have been put forward including viral infections and faulty nerves,
but presently none of these suggestions can be applied universally.
Pre-diabetes is an early form of <a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-2-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 2 Diabetes" >type 2
diabetes mellitus and the causes of each are extremely similar. Type-2
diabetes mellitus develops when the body prevents responding to insulin
hormone. The pancreas cells reacts through producing extra insulin hormone and
the liver responds by releasing extra glucose. Over the time this situation
limits the effectiveness of the pancreas and further increases insulin
resistance in the body. As with the other types
of diabetes mellitus people do not recognize what really causes the above
reaction. There is extremely strong evidence that <a href="http://www.diabetic-articles.com/category/type-2-diabetes/"title="Articles on Type 2 Diabetes" >type 2 diabetes mellitus is
linked to family history, age, ethnicity, inactivity and obesity.
